Snow Day p.s.

At 6pm on Snow Day, I finally left the house. I crossed the Kalorama hood, Rock Creek Park, took a few turns in Georgetown and participated in a literary evening at a 70 year old lady’s townhouse. All this amidst a fairytale-like Schneegestöber. I really don’t agree with people calling it snow storm. The real winter is finally here.
It’s almost like Christmas. And this morning I woke up to my boss’ authorization to work from home. But it was just too beautiful outside to stay:
